Hi all
7 hours on my new TE300 and time to sort the carb jetting....it is a bit rich low down.......the dealer set up the carb, so must have jetted it rich for safety etc....
So please share your jetting experiences, as I know from experience this can be a lengthly task, to reach the best jetting....
I have 35 pilot which seems ok.
Which needle and position???
Which main jet ???

i have just put the h needle in my exc 300. still running a 35 /172 but its made it crisper low down. i think i can still stand to raise to clip 2 until its really cold but currently its on 3 and still slightly wooly, i just havent had chance to put it up yet. was very rich with the g in.

I had my 15 TE300 as per the manual and found it abit rich
Dropped the neddle 1 clip and that cleaned it up
It seems the drink the tank more than my 13 300 with NECJ neddle
However it's still the smoothest machine I've threw me leg over and tbh I'm happy enuff!
